Following several transportation restroom modernization projects completed between 2021 and 2024 where older chrome motion-sensor faucets repeatedly suffered from delayed infrared response, unstable shutoff timing, and inconsistent stream interruption during continuous public operation, we transitioned multiple facilities to this automatic faucet system, and by 2026 the operational reliability has remained substantially stronger than previous chrome sensor fixtures operating in comparable high-use environments. Earlier commercial systems frequently struggled with false triggering near reflective surfaces and required ongoing recalibration because of changing restroom lighting exposure, whereas this faucet maintained steadier activation timing with smoother stream consistency throughout repeated operation cycles. Maintenance supervisors also mentioned that interruption-related service calls became significantly less frequent after installation. One deeper sink configuration required additional sensitivity adjustments during setup, but once optimized the infrared responsiveness and valve regulation remained highly dependable overall.
