We replaced several older chrome touchless basin faucets across transportation and executive-office restroom modernization projects between 2022 and 2025 after repeated complaints involving unstable infrared activation, delayed shutoff timing, and uneven stream interruption during repeated public usage, and by 2026 this faucet has maintained noticeably stronger operational consistency than previous chrome sensor systems installed in comparable high-traffic environments. Earlier commercial fixtures frequently struggled with false triggering near reflective countertops and often required ongoing recalibration because of changing ambient lighting exposure, whereas this model maintained steadier motion detection with smoother stream regulation during continuous operation. Maintenance supervisors also noted fewer interruption-related service requests after installation. One deeper basin installation required additional sensitivity adjustments during setup, but once calibrated the infrared responsiveness, valve consistency, and long-term operational reliability remained highly dependable throughout commercial use.
