4 of 5 Lower Temperature Complaints January 7, 2026
Reviewer: Isolde Whitmore, Systems Advisor from Ann Arbor, MI
We installed 15 hot-and-cold touchless faucets across healthcare restroom modernization projects between 2022 and 2025 after older thermostatic sensor systems repeatedly developed inconsistent temperature regulation, unstable infrared activation, and delayed shutoff timing during heavy staff and patient usage, and by 2026 these units have maintained substantially steadier operational consistency than previous temperature-controlled fixtures maintained in comparable medical environments. Earlier commercial systems frequently required repeated recalibration because of fluctuating inlet-pressure conditions and changing restroom lighting exposure, whereas this faucet maintained more reliable temperature balance with smoother activation timing throughout continuous daily operation. Maintenance teams also mentioned that temperature-related service requests became far less common after installation. One compact sink configuration required slight sensor refinements during setup, but once standardized the thermostatic regulation and infrared responsiveness remained highly dependable overall.
