Fontana Isano Chrome Wall-Mounted Waterfall Touchless Faucet FAQ

1.2 GPM Waterfall Delivery, 6.63-Inch Reach; Concealed Wall Mount & Hot-Cold Supply Integration

The Fontana Isano FS7961CH combines touchless operation, solid-brass construction, waterfall delivery, and concealed wall-mounted hot-cold plumbing.

How should the 1.2 GPM waterfall sheet be stabilized during commissioning?

Flush the 0.5-inch supply path before final connection and verify that valves, adapters, and fittings are fully open. A steady upstream supply allows the internal discharge channel to fill evenly and helps maintain a continuous waterfall sheet without edge breakup, lateral spray, or asymmetric flow across the outlet.

How should the 3.38-inch faceplate be sealed against the finished wall?

Confirm that the finished wall is flat, rigid, and waterproofed before setting the 3.38-inch square faceplate. Apply compatible non-staining sealant along the upper and side edges while preserving an appropriate drainage path below so incidental moisture does not become trapped inside the concealed rough-in cavity.

Why can residual water drain after the sensor valve closes?

A small amount of water may remain inside the 6.63-inch horizontal waterfall channel after electronic shutoff. Install the spout at the specified orientation so retained water drains toward the outlet rather than pooling inside the body. Persistent dripping should be distinguished from normal short-duration channel drain-down.

How should concealed hot-cold supplies remain serviceable after wall closure?

Coordinate the hot and cold supply lines, sensor control hardware, valve components, and electrical connections before the wall assembly is closed. Maintain accessible service provisions wherever required, then verify temperature stability, sensor response, automatic shutoff, and leak-free operation before installing the final trim.
