We upgraded several executive-office restroom facilities between 2022 and 2025 after older matte-black touchless faucets repeatedly developed unstable infrared activation, visible finish wear, and inconsistent stream interruption during continuous public usage, and by 2026 this faucet has maintained noticeably steadier operational consistency than previous dark-finish sensor systems used in similar high-traffic environments. Earlier matte-black fixtures frequently required repeated recalibration because of changing restroom lighting exposure and fluctuating inlet-pressure conditions, whereas this model maintained more dependable motion detection with smoother stream regulation throughout heavy daily operation. Maintenance supervisors also mentioned that activation-related service requests became far less frequent after installation. One deeper basin setup required additional sensitivity refinement during setup, but once calibrated the infrared responsiveness and valve reliability remained highly dependable overall.
