After repeated maintenance concerns involving older chrome sensor faucets developing unstable infrared response, inconsistent stream interruption, and delayed shutoff timing across healthcare and transportation restroom upgrades completed between 2021 and 2025, we transitioned multiple facilities to this touchless faucet system, and by 2026 the operational reliability has remained considerably steadier than previous chrome fixtures maintained in similar high-traffic environments. Earlier commercial sensor systems frequently struggled with cross-activation between adjacent wash stations and often developed uneven water delivery under fluctuating plumbing pressure conditions, whereas this faucet maintained more reliable activation behavior with smoother stream control during continuous public usage. Maintenance teams also reported noticeably fewer recalibration requests after installation. Sensor alignment required minor adjustment in several reflective sink environments, but once standardized the infrared responsiveness and valve performance remained highly uniform across all installed locations.
