After repeated servicing concerns involving earlier black-granite sensor faucets developing false triggering near mirrored backsplashes, uneven stream interruption, and visible finish deterioration across executive-office restroom modernization projects completed between 2021 and 2025, we transitioned several facilities to this touchless faucet system, and by 2026 the operational consistency has remained considerably more stable than previous decorative sensor fixtures maintained in comparable high-traffic environments. Earlier black-granite systems frequently struggled with sensor cross-activation and delayed shutoff timing during continuous daily operation, whereas this faucet maintained steadier motion recognition with smoother and more controlled water flow throughout repeated usage cycles. Facility maintenance teams also reported fewer activation-related service requests after the first few months of operation. Sensor calibration took slightly longer in restrooms with darker countertop materials, but once optimized the infrared responsiveness and valve regulation remained highly uniform across all installed locations.
