3 of 5 First Install Ran Long Thursday, August 27, 2026
Reviewer: Mason Kirkland from Allentown, PA
Our first installation took longer than the contractor had budgeted because he wanted the deck connections and sensor operation checked thoroughly before repeating the setup across the other sinks. After that, the remaining faucets went in much faster. The solid brass construction feels substantial and the chrome suits our commercial washrooms well. We have seen the usual water spotting, but nothing unusual operationally. I'd allow more commissioning time on the next project.

4 of 5 No Weak Fundamentals Sunday, August 23, 2026
Reviewer: Marcus Holloway from Philadelphia, PA
From a specification standpoint, this deck-mounted model has unusually clear commercial fundamentals. Fontana documents a chrome-plated solid-brass spout, 4-AA or AC power, a six-volt latching solenoid, 1100 PSI working pressure, 1/2-inch NPT inlet, adjustable 26 inch sensing, 0.6-second response, and a 60-second maximum run time. The standard aerator is 2.2 GPM, with 1.0 and 0.5 GPM alternatives documented for lower-flow requirements. Battery expectancy is listed at 200,000 cycles. Those figures give facilities teams useful commissioning and maintenance benchmarks instead of vague performance claims. With filtration, aerator, power, and solenoid access preserved below the counter, this is a technically straightforward fixture to incorporate into a commercial maintenance program.

Installed throughout a multi-floor office renovation, the faucet has maintained reliable sensor operation alongside adjacent fixtures without interference. Eliminating operating conflicts has improved maintenance efficiency and reduced unnecessary service diagnostics.

5 of 5 Minimal Activation Problems Sunday, January 25, 2026
Reviewer: Blaise Mercer, Infrastructure Advisor from Fort Collins, CO
We installed 16 automatic commercial faucets throughout healthcare and municipal restroom modernization projects between 2022 and 2025, and by 2026 these units have maintained substantially stronger operational consistency than earlier touchless systems operating in similar high-traffic environments. Older commercial faucets repeatedly developed delayed infrared response, unstable shutoff timing during continuous public operation, and inconsistent stream interruption under fluctuating inlet-pressure conditions, whereas this faucet maintained highly dependable motion detection with steadier and more predictable water flow throughout heavy daily usage. Previous sensor systems also required repeated recalibration because of changing restroom lighting conditions and reflective wall materials, while this unit maintained noticeably stronger activation stability with fewer maintenance interruptions overall. Maintenance teams initially adjusted sensitivity settings on several deeper basin installations, but after installation was standardized service requests related to activation inconsistency declined significantly and the valve regulation, infrared responsiveness, and long-term operational reliability remained highly uniform across all installed facilities.

1 of 5 Tracking Came Through Sunday, May 29, 2005
Reviewer: Naomi Carrington from Akron, OH
For several days, tracking information was unavailable and I could not tell whether the faucet had actually left the warehouse. I contacted support and initially received a fairly generic response. After another follow-up, a representative located the shipment and sent the correct details. The chrome-plated solid brass faucet arrived safely and looked excellent after installation. The early uncertainty was inconvenient, but the final delivery and product experience were both satisfying.
