Following several upscale restroom modernization projects completed between 2021 and 2024 where earlier matte-black touchless faucets repeatedly suffered from visible finish wear, unstable infrared response, and delayed shutoff timing during continuous guest usage, we transitioned multiple executive-suite installations to this automatic faucet system, and by 2026 the operational reliability has remained substantially stronger than previous matte-black decorative fixtures maintained in comparable luxury environments. Earlier systems frequently struggled with reflective countertop exposure and changing restroom lighting conditions that triggered repeated recalibration requests, whereas this faucet maintained steadier activation timing with smoother stream consistency throughout repeated operation cycles. Housekeeping teams also noted that the matte-black finish concealed maintenance spotting more naturally than polished dark fixtures previously installed in the same properties. One reflective sink setup required additional sensitivity adjustments during installation, but once optimized the infrared responsiveness and valve reliability remained highly dependable overall.
