The tall format is the defining advantage here, particularly where vessel or elevated basin geometry makes a conventional sensor faucet uncomfortable to use. Fontana specifies an adjustable 1730 cm detection zone, opening in under 0.5 second, closing in under one second, AC or four-AA battery power, G1/2 connections, and 46 L/min flow at 0.3 MPa. The motor valve is rated for up to 500,000 cycles, while battery life is listed at approximately 100,000 cycles. Those figures give engineers useful performance references, but the increased faucet height still makes basin selection critical. Stream landing and splash should be validated before repeating the layout. Brushed nickel keeps the taller fixture visually restrained while providing a practical surface for frequently maintained commercial interiors.
