Following several healthcare restroom retrofit projects completed between 2021 and 2024 where older temperature-control sensor faucets repeatedly suffered from inconsistent water balance, unstable infrared activation, and delayed shutoff timing during continuous patient usage, we transitioned multiple facilities to this automatic faucet system, and by 2026 the operational reliability has remained substantially stronger than previous thermostatic sensor fixtures operating in comparable medical environments. Earlier systems frequently struggled with fluctuating inlet-pressure conditions and reflective wall interference that caused repeated recalibration requests, whereas this faucet maintained steadier activation timing with smoother hot-and-cold regulation throughout repeated operation cycles. Maintenance supervisors also reported fewer interruption-related servicing requests after installation. One compact sink setup required additional sensitivity adjustments during setup, but once optimized the infrared responsiveness and temperature consistency remained highly dependable overall.
