Height Refuses Compromise |

The tall contemporary profile is the reason to specify this faucet, but it also makes basin selection less forgiving. Extra vertical clearance can improve usability around vessel and elevated bowls, yet a shallow basin or poorly positioned outlet can turn that same height into excessive splash. I would evaluate the faucet, bowl, drain, sensor field, and natural hand position as one assembly before approving a repeated installation. Matte black gives the taller body substantial architectural presence, so cleaning procedures should prohibit abrasive compounds that could mark the finish. Under-counter electronics and water-service components also need enough clearance to remain maintainable after cabinetry is completed. When those relationships are resolved properly, the added height becomes a useful ergonomic feature rather than simply an exaggerated visual proportion.
