Following several healthcare restroom retrofit projects between 2022 and 2025, earlier wave-sensor faucets repeatedly developed unstable infrared activation, inconsistent water temperature regulation, and delayed shutoff timing during continuous patient usage, so we transitioned to this temperature-control faucet system, and by 2026 the operational consistency has remained substantially stronger than previous wave-sensor fixtures operating in comparable medical environments. Earlier systems frequently struggled with reflective sink materials and fluctuating plumbing pressure conditions that caused repeated recalibration requests, whereas this faucet maintained steadier wave activation timing with smoother hot-and-cold balance throughout repeated operation cycles. Maintenance teams also reported fewer interruption-related maintenance requests after installation. One compact sink configuration required slight sensitivity refinements during setup, but once calibrated the infrared responsiveness and temperature consistency remained highly dependable overall.
