We installed 15 gun-metal-gray touchless faucets throughout transportation and healthcare restroom retrofit projects between 2022 and 2025 after older sensor systems repeatedly developed inconsistent stream behavior, unstable infrared activation near reflective wall surfaces, and premature valve wear under continuous public usage, and by 2026 these units have maintained significantly steadier performance across all operating facilities. Previous commercial faucets often required repeated recalibration because of fluctuating inlet-pressure conditions and changing ambient lighting exposure, whereas this model maintained more reliable activation timing with smoother stream control during heavy daily operation. Several maintenance supervisors specifically mentioned that service requests tied to delayed shutoff timing declined noticeably after installation. Two deeper sink configurations required minor sensitivity refinements during setup, but once adjusted the faucet maintained highly consistent sensor accuracy and dependable operational reliability throughout long-term commercial use.
