Fontana Countertop Faucet & Soap Dispenser:
Wall Section / Cross Section Construction Detail
This wall-section and cross-section resource is intended to support architects,
plumbing engineers, interior designers, countertop fabricators, contractors,
installers and facility managers coordinating the Fontana countertop faucet and
soap dispenser within commercial and residential lavatory environments. The
drawing package identifies the visible fixture bodies, escutcheons, countertop,
waterproof seals, threaded mounting shanks, mounting washers, lock nuts, supply
connections, dispenser tube and typical under-counter components.
Fontana Rose Gold Countertop Faucet and Soap Dispenser
This coordinated fixture set combines a lead-free brass countertop faucet
and matching soap dispenser with a rose gold PVD finish. Both fixtures are
deck mounted through the countertop and secured below the surface with
threaded shanks, sealing components, mounting washers and lock nuts. The
drawing also illustrates the concealed water-supply and soap-delivery components.

Required Wall Section and Cross-Section Drawing Package
Each drawing should use a consistent scale, component numbering system and
product identification block. Measurements should be referenced from the
finished countertop surface, fixture centerline and underside of the deck.
The drawing package should clearly identify the fixture body, escutcheon,
waterproof seals, threaded shank, washer, lock nut, supply connection or
dispenser tube and the under-counter service zone.
Wall Section / Cross Section
Shows the complete construction relationship between the visible fixture, countertop and concealed mounting assembly. This view provides an overall reference for countertop fabrication, plumbing coordination, installation sequencing and project submittals.
Faucet Body Section
Illustrates the faucet body, escutcheon, upper waterproof seal, countertop, threaded mounting shank, lower seal, mounting washer and lock nut. The section also shows the paired hot and cold braided water-supply connections.
Soap Dispenser Body Section
Illustrates the soap dispenser body and its complete deck-mounting assembly. The dispenser tube extends below the lock nut and connects to the refillable soap reservoir bottle located within the accessible under-counter zone.
Escutcheon / Base Flange
Identifies the decorative cover at the countertop surface. The escutcheon provides a clean finished appearance while concealing the mounting opening and upper sealing interface.
Waterproof Seals
Shows sealing components above and below the countertop. The upper seal helps prevent water from entering the cutout, while the lower seal supports a watertight interface beneath the deck.
Threaded Mounting Shank
Defines the threaded element passing through the countertop. The shank provides the structural connection between the fixture and the concealed mounting hardware below the deck.
Mounting Washer and Lock Nut
Shows the washer distributing the clamping load against the underside of the countertop and the lock nut securing the assembly. Tightening should be even and sufficient without damaging the deck material.
Faucet Supply Connections
Identifies the flexible hot and cold braided supply lines serving the faucet. The installation should include accessible shut-off valves and sufficient hose clearance to avoid kinking or interference.
Soap Reservoir and Service Zone
Coordinates the dispenser tube, refillable soap reservoir and surrounding maintenance space. The bottle should remain accessible for filling, removal, inspection and cleaning after installation.

All dimensions and component arrangements shown are nominal, and the drawing
should not be scaled. Verify countertop thickness, cutout requirements,
fixture spacing, sealing components, mounting hardware, supply connections
and under-counter service clearances against the current specification sheet,
approved product sample and installation instructions before fabrication.
Architectural and Plumbing Coordination Considerations
Countertop Thickness
Confirm that the finished countertop assembly falls within the recommended 5–35 mm range and allows full engagement of the mounting hardware.
Waterproofing
Seat the upper and lower waterproof seals evenly to reduce the risk of moisture penetration through the mounting opening.
Mounting Stability
Use the washer and lock nut to secure each fixture firmly while avoiding over-tightening that could damage the countertop or distort the escutcheon.
Supply-Line Routing
Route hot and cold braided hoses without sharp bends, abrasion points or interference with drawers, cabinetry or the soap reservoir.
Shut-Off Valve Access
Provide accessible angle stop valves below the countertop so the faucet can be isolated for commissioning, inspection and maintenance.
Soap Reservoir Access
Maintain sufficient clearance around the dispenser bottle for routine refilling, removal, cleaning and replacement.
