Fontana Mauro Brushed Gold Touchless Waterfall Faucet FAQ
Waterfall Delivery, 11 cm Spout Projection;
Sensor Control & Single-Hole Deck Coordination
The Fontana Mauro FS7901BG combines solid-brass construction,
touchless sensor control, waterfall delivery, and a compact
deck-mounted architectural profile.
Where should the 11 cm waterfall outlet align with the basin?
Coordinate the 11 cm faucet-to-spout distance with the basin's
inner geometry before the deck opening is finalized. The waterfall
sheet should enter the usable washing zone rather than strike a
steep bowl wall or shallow edge, since poor alignment can increase
splash around the countertop.
Why does waterfall delivery require different splash testing from a conventional aerated stream?
A waterfall outlet forms a broader sheet of water instead of a
narrow aerated column. During commissioning, observe the complete
flow pattern across the basin and confirm that the bowl depth and
outlet position contain the sheet without excessive rebound.
Irregular discharge can also indicate debris or mineral buildup
at the waterfall outlet.
Can reflective basin finishes affect the touchless activation zone?
Highly reflective countertops, polished bowls, mirrors, and nearby
metallic accessories can influence the environment surrounding an
optical sensor. Perform final activation testing only after these
surfaces are installed, checking normal hand approaches as well
as the empty basin for unwanted triggering.
What clearance is needed around the 19.5 cm-wide faucet profile?
The listed faucet width is 19.5 cm with a 12.5 cm overall height.
Confirm adequate countertop space around the body while preserving
access beneath the deck for mounting hardware, water connections,
sensor components, and future service. The faucet should remain
rigidly secured without interference from the basin rim or backsplash.
