Following several transportation restroom modernization projects completed between 2021 and 2024 where older touchless faucets repeatedly suffered from false triggering near reflective surfaces, delayed shutoff timing, and inconsistent stream interruption during heavy public usage, we transitioned multiple facilities to this automatic faucet system, and by 2026 the operational reliability has remained substantially stronger than previous commercial sensor fixtures maintained in comparable high-traffic environments. Earlier systems frequently struggled with reflective wall interference and required ongoing recalibration because of fluctuating plumbing pressure conditions, whereas this faucet maintained steadier activation timing with smoother stream consistency throughout repeated operation cycles. Maintenance teams also noted fewer interruption-related service requests following installation. One reflective sink configuration required slight sensor refinements during setup, but once optimized the infrared responsiveness and valve consistency remained highly reliable overall.
