Fontana Lymora FS9099BGR Black Granite Automatic Motion Sensor Faucet:
Automatic Valve / Solenoid Plumbing Diagram
This automatic-valve plumbing resource is intended to support architects,
plumbing engineers, contractors, installers and facility managers coordinating
the Fontana Lymora FS9099BGR Black Granite automatic motion-sensor faucet.
The drawing package communicates the hot and cold supply arrangement,
individual shutoff valves, mixing connection, inline filter / strainer,
automatic solenoid valve, 1/2-inch flexible hose, faucet inlet, service
isolation and under-deck maintenance access.
Fontana Lymora FS9099BGR Under-Deck Automatic Valve Assembly
The FS9099BGR uses an under-deck automatic solenoid valve to control
water flow in response to the faucet’s infrared sensor. Separate hot
and cold supplies feed the assembly through accessible shutoff valves,
while an inline filter / strainer helps protect the valve from debris
before mixed water is delivered to the faucet through a 1/2-inch hose.
- Model: FS9099BGR
- Finish: Black Granite
- Activation: Infrared motion sensor
- Valve type: Automatic solenoid valve
- Supply arrangement: Hot and cold water
- Connection type: 1/2-inch hose
- Protection: Inline filter / strainer
- Service isolation: Independent hot and cold shutoff valves
- Installation: Single-hole deck mount
- Spout reach: 110 mm (4.33 in.)
- Overall faucet height: Approximately 175 mm (6.89 in.)
Required Automatic Valve / Solenoid Drawing Package
Each plumbing drawing should use a consistent supply-line identification,
flow-direction convention and service-access notation. The package should
clearly identify the hot and cold shutoff valves, mixing connection,
filter / strainer, automatic solenoid valve, flexible hose, faucet inlet,
service isolation points and under-deck access required for installation,
commissioning and future maintenance.
Automatic Valve / Solenoid Plumbing Diagram
Shows the complete under-deck plumbing arrangement for the Fontana Lymora FS9099BGR, including hot and cold supplies, individual shutoff valves, mixing connection, inline filter / strainer, automatic solenoid valve, flexible 1/2-inch hose and the final faucet inlet connection.
Front View — Solenoid Supply Schematic
Illustrates hot water on the left and cold water on the right, each with an accessible isolation valve. Both supplies feed toward the central mixing and solenoid assembly before a single hose connection continues upward to the faucet.
Side View — Under-Deck Valve Assembly
Shows the complete automatic valve assembly below the countertop, including the strainer, solenoid, mixed-water connection, flexible hose and service-access area needed for inspection and maintenance.
Automatic Solenoid Valve
Identifies the under-deck solenoid as the primary automatic on / off control. When the infrared sensor detects the user’s hands, the valve opens to allow water to flow to the faucet and closes when the detection condition ends.
Inline Filter / Strainer
Shows a serviceable filter installed upstream of the solenoid to help prevent debris from entering the automatic valve. The strainer should remain accessible for periodic cleaning and inspection.
Hot & Cold Service Isolation
Provides independent shutoff valves for the hot and cold supplies so either line can be isolated for maintenance without affecting unrelated plumbing systems.
Top View — Service Access & Line Positioning
Shows the preferred under-counter arrangement with hot supply on the left, cold supply on the right and the solenoid assembly centered below the faucet to reduce hose crossing and simplify future service.
Typical Flow Path
Defines the sequence from hot / cold supplies through shutoff valves, mixing connection, filter / strainer, automatic valve / solenoid, 1/2-inch hose and faucet inlet to the waterfall spout.
Service Access & Final Verification
Coordinates access for shutoff-valve operation, strainer servicing, solenoid maintenance, hose inspection and leak testing. Before handover, verify correct flow direction, leak-free fittings and reliable sensor-controlled operation.
Engineering note:
All component locations, dimensions and connection arrangements shown are
nominal coordination references. Final solenoid orientation, hose size,
strainer type, mixing configuration, shutoff-valve arrangement, water
pressure, electrical control requirements and service clearances should
be verified against the approved Fontana Lymora FS9099BGR installation
documentation and applicable local plumbing requirements.
Plumbing, Control and Service Coordination Considerations
Solenoid Accessibility
Keep the automatic valve assembly in an accessible under-deck location so the valve, control wiring and connections can be inspected or replaced without removing permanent construction.
Strainer Maintenance
Locate the inline filter where it can be removed and cleaned periodically to help maintain consistent solenoid and faucet performance.
Supply Orientation
Maintain hot water on the left and cold water on the right and clearly identify the lines during installation and future service.
Smooth Hose Routing
Avoid sharp bends, twisting, kinks and excessive tension in flexible hoses, and keep them clear of drain assemblies and cabinet hardware.
Isolation Valves
Provide dedicated shutoff valves for both supplies and keep them operable after cabinetry, basin and countertop installation are complete.
Commissioning
Flush the supply lines, inspect all joints under pressure and test automatic opening and closing of the solenoid before final handover.

Project verification:
Automatic-valve and solenoid plumbing drawings are coordination tools and do not
replace approved project submittals. The architect, plumbing engineer,
contractor and licensed installer should verify supply orientation, shutoff
valves, filter / strainer selection, solenoid orientation, mixing arrangement,
hose compatibility, electrical control requirements, water pressure, service
access, leak testing and locally adopted plumbing requirements before
installation and commissioning.
