Fontana FS-9564BN Commercial Brushed Nickel Touchless Automatic Sensor Sink Faucet: Deck-Mount Countertop Installation Detail
This deck-mount countertop installation resource is intended to support architects, plumbing engineers, interior designers, contractors, installers and facility managers coordinating the Fontana FS-9564BN commercial touchless automatic sensor sink faucet. The drawing package communicates the single-hole countertop mounting condition, installation-hole diameter, maximum deck thickness, mounting washer, lock nut, threaded shank and G1/2 hot- and cold-water supply connections required for installation planning and field coordination.
Fontana FS-9564BN Brushed Nickel Touchless Automatic Sensor Sink Faucet
The FS-9564BN is a commercial deck-mounted sensor faucet with a rectangular brushed-nickel body and concealed mounting hardware. The installation detail supports countertop drilling, fixture placement, hardware sequencing, water-supply coordination and leak-check procedures.

Required Deck-Mount Countertop Installation Drawing Package
Each drawing should use a consistent scale, dimension style and product identification block. Measurements should be referenced from the finished countertop surface, faucet centerline, mounting-hole centerline and underside mounting plane. The drawing package should clearly identify the deck opening, maximum deck thickness, threaded shank, mounting washer, lock nut and hot/cold supply connections in metric and imperial units.
Deck-Mount Installation Section
Shows the complete sectional relationship between the faucet body, finished countertop, threaded mounting shank, mounting washer, lock nut and supply connection. This view provides the primary reference for installation sequencing and under-counter access.
Installation Hole Detail
Identifies the required nominal Ø35 mm (1-3/8 in.) countertop opening in top view. The hole centerline should be coordinated with the basin geometry, backsplash, surrounding fixtures and available under-counter space.
Maximum Countertop Thickness
Defines a recommended maximum deck thickness of 35 mm (1-3/8 in.). The finished countertop build-up should allow sufficient threaded-shank engagement for the washer and lock nut.
Mounting Hardware Exploded View
Shows the faucet body, threaded mounting shank, mounting washer and lock nut in assembly order. The components should be installed from the underside after the faucet body is inserted through the countertop opening.
Mounting Washer
Illustrates the washer beneath the countertop, where it distributes clamping force across the deck surface and provides a stable bearing area for the lock nut.
Lock Nut
Identifies the retaining nut that secures the faucet to the deck. Tighten evenly to prevent faucet movement while avoiding excessive force that could damage the countertop material.
Hot & Cold Supply Connections
Shows two G1/2 connections for the hot and cold water supplies. Supply hoses and valves should remain accessible beneath the countertop for connection, inspection and future service.
Recommended Installation Sequence
Drill the countertop opening, insert the faucet body, install the washer and lock nut from below, connect the hot and cold supplies, then verify alignment, mounting security and leak-free operation.
Final Installation Verification
Confirm the faucet is level, the mounting hardware is fully engaged, the supply lines are connected correctly and all water connections remain dry under operating pressure.
Engineering note: All dimensions shown are nominal, and the drawing should not be scaled. Verify the mounting-hole diameter, countertop thickness, mounting-hardware engagement, connection size, basin alignment and service access against the current FontanaShowers specification sheet, approved product sample, installation instructions or project submittal before drilling or installation.
Architectural and Plumbing Coordination Considerations
Countertop Material
Confirm the selected countertop material is suitable for a Ø35 mm drilled opening and can support the mounting loads without cracking or excessive flexing.
Mounting-Hole Location
Coordinate the hole centerline with the basin, backsplash and faucet outlet so the water stream lands within the usable sink area.
Deck Thickness
Verify the complete finished deck build-up does not exceed the recommended 35 mm maximum thickness.
Under-Counter Access
Maintain sufficient clearance below the deck for the washer, lock nut, supply connections and tools needed for installation and servicing.
Water-Supply Routing
Route hot and cold supply hoses without kinks, abrasion or interference with drain piping, cabinetry or sensor-system components.
Leak Testing
After installation, pressurize the system and inspect all G1/2 connections and mounting interfaces before closing the cabinet or placing the fixture into service.

Project verification: Deck-mount installation drawings are coordination tools and do not replace approved project submittals. The architect, plumbing engineer, countertop fabricator, contractor and licensed installer should verify the mounting-hole diameter, deck thickness, faucet alignment, mounting hardware, hot/cold connection compatibility, under-counter access, accessibility criteria and locally adopted codes before fabrication or installation.
