Temperature-Responsive LED Feedback, Infrared Activation Control & Waterfall Discharge Engineering
Engineered for touch-free basin applications, this brushed nickel stainless steel faucet combines sensor activation, LED temperature indication, and waterfall delivery in a single-hole configuration.
How does the LED system provide functional temperature feedback during water delivery?
The integrated color-changing LED provides a visual indication corresponding to water temperature during discharge. This allows users to recognize changing thermal conditions without physical faucet contact, adding a secondary visual reference alongside the automatic sensor-controlled water cycle. :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}
How should the 4.92-inch spout reach be coordinated with the basin geometry?
The 4.92-inch projection should position the waterfall stream inside the basin's primary capture zone rather than close to the rim. Coordinating faucet setback, bowl depth, and drain location helps control splash propagation while maintaining comfortable hand clearance beneath the 2.17-inch spout height. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
Why is mounting-hole tolerance important for this single-hole sensor faucet?
The specified 1.1–1.9-inch mounting-hole range must provide adequate clearance for the faucet assembly while allowing the base to seat securely against the deck. Correct hole sizing limits lateral movement and helps maintain alignment between the sensor, waterfall outlet, and basin wash zone. :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
What commissioning checks are required for reliable touchless and LED operation?
After flushing the supply piping, installers should verify leak-free connections, repeated sensor activation and shutoff, waterfall alignment, and LED response as water temperature changes. Testing should be completed with the finished basin installed so reflective surfaces can also be evaluated for unintended sensor triggering. :contentReference[oaicite:3]{index=3}
