The faucet is a motion electronically controlled faucet that eliminates the need to touch or turn handles and the temperature and flow rate can be pre-set. Through the use of sensor beams, the automatic faucet determines when an object is in front of it and automatically turns on the faucet.
Since there is nothing to touch and nothing to reach for, an automatic faucet eliminates much of the cleaning and disinfecting required to maintain a hygienic surface. Sensor-activated faucet special features include intelligent microcomputer control that automatically adjusts the optimal detection zone based on the color and shape of the lavatory. Low power consumption allows four AA alkaline batteries to operate for up to two years at approximately 200 cycles per day. A built-in strainer helps prevent debris from entering the solenoid valve and is easy to remove and clean.
