4 of 5 Custodial Workflow Won Wednesday, June 24, 2026
Reviewer: Douglas Penrose from Madison, WI
Custodial supervisors, not the design team, made the final call on the brushed-nickel Geneva. Their evaluation centered on refill handling, counter access, and whether the deck-mounted dispenser would complicate nightly cleaning across a busy university building. After a semester-long pilot, they recommended expanding it. Hands-free dispensing reduced the collection of mismatched soap containers, while nickel stayed compatible with existing fixtures. A product that earns approval from the people servicing it every day carries more weight with facilities than a polished specification sheet.
