I would approve the brushed-gold sample under the project's actual vanity lighting because warm metallic finishes can shift noticeably beside stone, mirrors, and surrounding accessories. The basin should also be reviewed with the faucet installed at its intended position so hand placement and water landing feel natural rather than forced. From a maintenance standpoint, gentle non-abrasive cleaning is preferable to corrective polishing after mineral buildup. When finish care, sensor behavior, and service access are established early, the premium appearance remains compatible with practical daily operation.

Brushed gold wasn't my first choice for a high-use restroom, but the design team wanted something warmer than chrome. Visually, they were right. It looks excellent against our darker counters and gives the room a more finished appearance. My concern is housekeeping because the surface needs sensible cleaning to stay consistent. The sensor side has actually been the easy part with no recurring complaints. I'd use it again in customer-facing areas, but probably not throughout an entire facility.
