Housekeeping opposed matte black at first because our conference center operates with rapid room turnovers and little tolerance for extra detailing. Their concern was partly correct. The Witton dual-rain heads look exceptional against the light enclosure, but residue becomes visible sooner than on our brushed fixtures. Functionally, the showers have been excellent and conference guests frequently mention the dual-head experience. Management ultimately kept the specification because the visual and user benefits are substantial. Three stars acknowledges that achieving that appearance consistently requires additional cleaning discipline.
