construction with a glossy gold finish, wall-mounted installation, AC infrared
induction, sensor-activated double flushing, and gravity-assisted waste removal.
The oval commercial fixture uses a top-spud connection with a pipe adapting piece
and measures 14.76 inches wide, 12.60 inches deep, and 26.77 inches high for
hospitality and upscale commercial restroom applications.
How should the AC infrared sensor be commissioned after installation?
Complete sensor commissioning only after the urinal, flush connection,
finished wall surfaces, partitions, lighting, and nearby restroom fixtures
are fully installed. Verify that the AC-powered infrared sensor consistently
detects normal user presence without triggering from adjacent circulation,
reflective surfaces, or nearby fixtures. Perform repeated occupancy and
departure cycles and confirm that the sensor initiates the intended automatic
flush sequence only after the required detection event.
How should the sensor double-flush and gravity-flush performance be verified?
Commission the flushing system by observing several complete automatic cycles
under normal operating conditions. Confirm that the sensor-activated double
flush produces consistent bowl rinsing and that gravity-assisted waste removal
clears the fixture effectively. If flushing becomes weak or incomplete,
inspect the incoming flush supply, top-spud connection, adapting piece, and
internal water path for restriction or incorrect alignment before diagnosing
the infrared sensor or electronic controls.
What installation geometry should be checked for the top-spud wall-mounted configuration?
Coordinate the finished wall, carrier or structural support, waste outlet,
flush supply, and top-spud position before setting the fixture. Allow for the
urinal's 14.76-inch width, 12.60-inch depth, and 26.77-inch overall height,
while maintaining the project-specified rim elevation and required clearances.
The top-spud connection and supplied pipe adapting piece should align without
forcing or side-loading the ceramic connection, and the fixture must remain
firmly supported against the finished wall.
How should the Glossy Gold ceramic surface and sensor area be maintained?
Clean the premium ceramic body with a soft non-abrasive cloth or sponge and
a diluted pH-neutral cleaner, then rinse and dry the exposed surfaces to limit
mineral spotting and residue accumulation. Keep the infrared sensor area free
of soap film, dust, and deposits that could interfere with detection. Avoid
abrasive pads, steel wool, harsh acidic cleaners, aggressive alkalis, and
concentrated chemicals that could damage the smooth ceramic electrocoat or
alter the Glossy Gold appearance.
