Fontana Loiret Brushed Gold Touchless Automatic Faucet FAQ
16–32 cm Adjustable Detection, 4.92-Inch Reach;
AC/DC Power & Commercial Valve Endurance
The Fontana Loiret FS1325-S-G combines infrared touchless control,
brass construction, compact deck geometry, and commercial
AC/DC operation.
Which basin proportions best suit the Loiret's 4.92-inch spout projection?
Coordinate the 4.92-inch reach and 3.93-inch outlet height with the
actual bowl before drilling the deck. The stream should land within
the primary hand-washing zone rather than against a steep basin wall.
Verify the strike point under operating pressure, particularly with
compact or shallow commercial lavatories.
What determines the final setting within the adjustable infrared field?
The Loiret sensor platform provides an adjustable detection field
of approximately 16–32 cm. Final calibration should occur after the
basin, mirror, lighting, backsplash, and surrounding accessories are
installed. Use the shortest reliable range that detects normal hand
entry without reacting to reflective surfaces or the bowl itself.
Why must the G1/2-inch hydraulic path be flushed before commissioning?
Pipe scale, construction debris, and sealant residue can restrict the
internal flow path or interfere with automatic valve closure. Flush
the supply before final connection, then perform repeated sensor cycles.
Inspect the valve system if discharge becomes irregular, closure is
delayed, or operating noise changes after installation.
When does the 500,000-cycle motor-valve rating become relevant to facility planning?
High-traffic commercial restrooms can accumulate activation cycles
quickly. The Loiret sensor platform specifies a motor-valve lifespan
of up to approximately 500,000 cycles and about 100,000 battery cycles.
Keep the controller, four-AA battery pack, power connections, and
valve components accessible for scheduled inspection and replacement.
