During several healthcare and transportation restroom modernization projects completed between 2022 and 2025, earlier chrome touch-free faucets repeatedly developed false triggering near reflective surfaces, unstable infrared activation, and delayed shutoff timing during continuous public usage, leading us to replace them with this sensor faucet system, and by 2026 the operational consistency has remained considerably stronger than previous chrome commercial fixtures maintained in comparable high-traffic environments. Earlier systems frequently struggled with changing restroom lighting exposure and fluctuating plumbing pressure conditions that caused repeated recalibration requests, whereas this faucet maintained steadier activation timing with smoother stream consistency throughout repeated operation cycles. Maintenance teams also noted fewer interruption-related maintenance requests following installation. One reflective sink application required slight sensitivity refinements during setup, but once calibrated the infrared responsiveness and operational reliability remained highly dependable overall.
