Fontana Lymora FS9099BGR Black Granite Automatic Motion Sensor Faucet: Spout Reach & Basin Coordination Drawing

This basin-coordination resource is intended to support architects, plumbing engineers, interior designers, contractors, countertop fabricators, installers and facility managers coordinating the Fontana Lymora FS9099BGR Black Granite automatic motion-sensor faucet. The drawing package communicates the faucet centerline, spout reach, spout height, waterfall-stream landing zone, basin centerline, backsplash setback, basin depth and clearances needed to reduce splash and maintain reliable touchless operation.

Fontana Lymora FS9099BGR Black Granite Touchless Waterfall Faucet

The FS9099BGR combines a rectangular Black Granite faucet body, waterfall-style outlet and integrated motion sensor. Proper basin coordination is important because the wide waterfall stream depends on accurate spout projection, basin depth, backsplash clearance and centerline alignment to keep water fully within the bowl and minimize splash.

  • Model: FS9099BGR
  • Finish: Black Granite
  • Activation: Automatic motion / infrared sensor
  • Installation: Single-hole deck mount
  • Stream type: Waterfall flow
  • Spout reach: 110 mm (4.33 in.)
  • Spout height: 110 mm (4.33 in.)
  • Overall faucet height: Approximately 175 mm (6.89 in.)
  • Recommended backsplash setback: Approximately 50 mm (2 in.) minimum
  • Illustrated basin depth: Approximately 120 mm (4.72 in.)
  • Preferred alignment: Faucet centered on basin / drain zone

Required Spout Reach and Basin Coordination Drawing Package

Each coordination drawing should use a consistent finished-countertop datum, faucet centerline and basin centerline. The package should clearly identify spout reach, spout height, waterfall-stream trajectory, basin landing zone, backsplash setback, basin depth, sensor clearance and the relationship between the outlet and drain before countertop drilling or final fixture installation.

Spout Reach & Basin Coordination Drawing

Shows the complete faucet-to-basin relationship, including front elevation, side clearance view, top centerline alignment, waterfall-stream trajectory, basin landing zone and backsplash setback.

Front View — Basin Coordination

Establishes the faucet and basin centerlines and identifies a nominal 110 mm spout height and 110 mm spout reach. The waterfall stream should land fully inside the basin.

Side View — Spout Reach & Clearance

Illustrates the 110 mm spout projection, approximate 175 mm faucet height and recommended relationship between the faucet, backsplash and basin rim.

Backsplash Setback

Indicates a recommended backsplash setback of approximately 50 mm minimum where practical to reduce rear-rim splash and provide clearance for the waterfall stream.

Top View — Basin Centerline

Shows the faucet centered on the sink centerline with the 110 mm reach projecting into the usable bowl area.

Water Landing Zone

Identifies the preferred landing area inside the bowl and generally aligned with the drain centerline. The stream should not strike the rear wall, front rim or countertop.

Stream Landing Trajectory

Illustrates the typical path from the waterfall outlet to the basin. Final trajectory depends on actual flow, pressure and basin geometry.

Sensor & Deck Coordination

Coordinates the integrated motion sensor, deck-mounted faucet body and surrounding countertop. The sensor face should remain unobstructed.

Final Basin & Faucet Verification

Before drilling or final mounting, confirm faucet centerline, basin centerline, drain location, spout reach, backsplash clearance, basin depth, sensor clearance and under-counter service space.

Engineering note: All dimensions shown are nominal and the drawing should not be scaled. Final faucet position, spout reach, basin alignment, backsplash clearance, stream landing zone, mounting-hole location and sensor clearance should be verified against the approved Fontana Lymora FS9099BGR installation documentation and the actual selected basin before countertop fabrication.

Architectural and Plumbing Coordination Considerations

Basin Centerline

Center the faucet on the basin whenever practical so the waterfall stream lands evenly within the bowl.

Spout Projection

Coordinate the 110 mm reach with the rear rim and bowl geometry so the stream projects far enough into the basin without overshooting the landing zone.

Backsplash Clearance

Maintain approximately 50 mm minimum setback from the backsplash where practical.

Basin Depth

Check the selected basin depth and wall slopes against the waterfall stream so impact occurs within the bowl and does not create excessive splash.

Sensor Clearance

Keep the front sensor window unobstructed by soap dispensers, raised basin rims or decorative objects.

Field Performance Check

Verify final stream placement under actual operating pressure and flow after installation.

Professional Engineering and Accessibility References

Project verification: Spout-reach and basin-coordination drawings are design tools and do not replace approved project submittals. The architect, plumbing engineer, countertop fabricator, contractor and licensed installer should verify faucet centerline, basin centerline, spout reach, backsplash setback, basin depth, stream landing zone, mounting-hole position, sensor clearance, accessibility criteria and locally adopted plumbing requirements before fabrication and installation.
