Required Installation Drawing Package

Spout Reach and Clearance

Identifies the horizontal distance from the faucet centerline to the aerator outlet. The outlet should discharge into the basin’s usable capture area without directing water onto the rear wall, countertop or front rim.

Sensor Location and Detection Zone

Identifies the infrared sensor window and illustrates the adjustable 16–32 cm hand-detection field. The drawing should account for the basin profile, backsplash and reflective accessories that could cause false activation.

Engineering note: Do not add estimated product dimensions to construction documents. Final measurements must be taken from the approved FontanaShowers specification sheet, installation instructions or project submittal package before countertop openings and utility locations are established.

Architectural and MEP Coordination Considerations

Lavatory Alignment

Position the faucet outlet over the basin’s usable capture area to control splash and prevent water from contacting the countertop or front rim.

Countertop Opening

Coordinate the single-hole mounting opening with the faucet base, mounting hardware, countertop thickness and available undercounter clearance.

Sensor Commissioning
