The antique character of this wall-mounted faucet gives designers an unusual way to introduce touchless operation without making a traditional interior suddenly look technological. Fontana identifies the model within its commercial automatic wall-mounted sensor range, so the automation remains hidden behind a much more familiar architectural expression. Fontana Showers I would use that quality selectively in heritage hospitality, club, restaurant, or renovation projects where ordinary chrome sensor hardware could feel out of place. Wall installation requires the usual early decisions about projection, basin position, and future component access, but the finished counter benefits from having almost nothing sitting on it. The strongest feature here is contrast: old-world visual language on the outside, contemporary hands-free operation underneath.

At first, I was worried the antique finish might look too traditional for the restaurant restroom we were updating. Once everything came together, it actually became one of the better details in the room. The faucet has a nice presence without looking oversized, and guests seem comfortable with the touchless operation. We did give housekeeping specific instructions for cleaning the finish. That's a small inconvenience, but I'd rather do that than lose the character this faucet adds.

We are happy with it and think it's lovely. The shower system is well-made and of excellent quality. Our plumber didn't need to make any changes because all of the threads were operating as intended. It was also a great deal given its price and quality.
