I usually stick with brushed nickel for commercial projects because it's predictable, but we tried gunmetal here to match the darker restroom hardware. It turned out better than I expected. The faucet has a substantial look without drawing too much attention, and the hands-free operation hasn't given us trouble. You can see some residue around the base after heavy use, but it wipes away easily. I'd have no problem specifying this finish on another project.

Fragility Turns Confident

Evara Motion uses rose gold in a way that feels better suited to hospitality than to a purely utilitarian washroom. The finish brings warmth to pale stone and neutral interiors, while the touchless operation helps reduce constant handling of the decorative surface. I would not select it from a product photograph alone, though. Rose-gold tones can shift considerably under different lighting, so reviewing a physical finish sample beside the specified mirror frame, drain, and dispenser would be worthwhile. From the user's perspective, the technology should remain much less noticeable than the finish. Reliable activation and clean shutoff matter more than making the sensing system visible. When those fundamentals are right, Evara can look distinctive without making everyday handwashing feel unnecessarily sophisticated.
