EVIANO™ OIL RUBBED BRONZE DIGITAL SHOWER

Fontana Eviano Bronze Thermostatic Shower FAQs

Oil Rubbed Bronze ceiling-mounted thermostatic shower with a 32-inch rainfall/waterfall head, three body jets, digital temperature display, LED lighting and phone-controlled music.

✥ What Ceiling Rough-In Is Required for the 32-Inch Overhead Shower? +

The FS20100ORB uses a ceiling-mounted multifunction shower assembly measuring 32 × 23.62 inches. Coordinate the overhead fixture with ceiling framing, structural support, finished ceiling elevation, hydraulic supply connections and the intended shower-use area. Verify the installation opening, mounting arrangement and required clearances using the manufacturer's dimensional drawing. The published fixture dimensions should not be treated as the ceiling cutout dimensions without confirmation. Support the stainless steel and brass assembly using appropriate manufacturer- specified mounting provisions. Preserve access to serviceable hydraulic and electronic connections. Pressure-test concealed plumbing and verify waterproof detailing before completing the ceiling finish.

◇ How Should the Digital Thermostatic Mixer Be Commissioned? +

The Eviano includes digital thermostatic control for hot and cold water mixing. Confirm supply orientation, connection compatibility and mixer installation depth before closing the wall. Flush both water supplies to remove construction debris that could impair the internal control components. Establish the intended mixed-water temperature using the digital interface. Compare the displayed temperature with a calibrated thermometer measuring discharge at the active shower outlet. Observe the temperature response when changing between supported functions and during normal variations in water demand. Confirm any adjustable maximum-temperature protections and commissioning procedures in the manufacturer's installation manual. No specific temperature accuracy tolerance or ASSE certification should be assumed without supporting technical documentation.

◯ What Does the Published 2.5 GPM Flow Rating Require? +

Fontana lists a water-flow rating of 2.5 gallons per minute for the FS20100ORB. Following installation, measure actual discharge using suitable flow-measurement equipment and compare the result with the specified operating configuration. Measure dynamic water pressure while the shower is running rather than relying solely on static pressure. Check hot-water availability, cold-water supply stability, pipe sizing and restrictions within connected fittings. Test the supported shower functions for irregular discharge or excessive pressure reduction. If simultaneous outlet operation is supported, measure actual combined discharge rather than multiplying 2.5 GPM by the number of functions. The product listing does not provide a numerical operating-pressure range; confirm that separately from the technical installation documentation.

↻ How Are the Rainfall and Waterfall Functions Evaluated? +

The FS20100ORB incorporates rainfall and waterfall discharge within its multifunction overhead shower assembly. Before operation, confirm the ceiling support, assembly alignment and integrity of the water connections. Activate rainfall mode and inspect distribution across the intended nozzle field for uneven discharge or partially obstructed outlets. Select waterfall mode and observe continuity and direction of the discharged water sheet. Verify the water-impact zone remains within the shower enclosure and does not cause excessive splash outside the intended area. Check positive shutoff after changing modes and observe discharge performance during any manufacturer-supported simultaneous operation. Remove debris using approved cleaning and maintenance procedures.

⌁ What Installation Checks Apply to the Three Body Massage Jets? +

The Eviano includes three body massage jets, with each outlet specified at 3.93 × 3.93 inches. Coordinate jet locations with the shower enclosure, intended user position, wall framing and concealed supply connections. Confirm suitable mounting support and watertight detailing around all wall penetrations. During commissioning, activate the massage function and inspect water delivery at each of the three body-jet outlets. Check for uneven flow, restricted discharge, loose fittings and leakage at the wall connections. Verify the resulting spray-impact zones remain within the shower enclosure. If nozzle adjustment is supported, use only the movement range documented by the manufacturer. Do not assume an individual jet flow rate without model-specific hydraulic data.

⌂ How Should the Handheld Shower and 59-Inch Hose Be Tested? +

The FS20100ORB includes one handheld shower with a published hose length of 59 inches. Coordinate the handheld support and wall connection with the thermostatic mixer, overhead shower and body-jet layout. Check that the hose permits normal movement without excessive tension, twisting, kinking or interference with nearby fittings. Inspect both hose connections for leakage under operating pressure. Activate the handheld function, verify consistent water discharge and confirm complete shutoff after deselection. Check that the shower head can be returned securely to its intended support. During routine maintenance, inspect the hose surface, couplings and handheld outlets for wear or mineral deposits.

⚙ What Electrical Coordination Is Required for LED Lighting and Music? +

The Eviano integrates LED illumination, a digital temperature display and phone-controlled music. Obtain the current manufacturer wiring instructions and electrical equipment ratings before installation. Coordinate power connections, electronic controls, cable routing and required service accessibility with the ceiling and wall construction. Confirm applicable electrical protection, grounding, bonding and wet-location requirements under local codes. During commissioning, check LED operation, digital display response, smartphone music connectivity and audio playback. Observe the behavior of electronic functions following an interruption and restoration of electrical power. The published specifications confirm music control by phone but do not identify Tuya Wi-Fi or voice control for this product. These functions should not be described as supported without additional manufacturer confirmation.

⌕ How Should the Oil Rubbed Bronze Finish and Concealed Equipment Be Maintained? +

The FS20100ORB combines stainless steel and brass construction with an Oil Rubbed Bronze finish. Clean finished surfaces using a soft damp cloth and manufacturer-compatible mild detergent. Avoid abrasive pads, acidic cleaners, harsh solvents and metal polishing compounds that could damage or alter the darker bronze appearance. Inspect rainfall outlets, waterfall passages, body jets and handheld shower components for mineral accumulation. Check thermostatic mixer response, digital temperature indication, LED illumination and phone-controlled music operation during scheduled maintenance. Preserve access to serviceable hydraulic and electronic equipment behind finished surfaces. Isolate the appropriate water and electrical supplies before servicing concealed assemblies.
