Establish the faucet centerline from the basin drain and confirm that the concealed supply and mounting support are plumb, rigid, and square to the finished ceiling. Incorrect alignment can shift the water stream away from the intended landing area and place lateral stress on the brass body.
How should the touchless sensing field be commissioned for a ceiling-mounted faucet?
Complete calibration after the basin, mirror, lighting, countertop accessories, and surrounding reflective surfaces are installed. Confirm that normal hand placement activates water promptly without the sensor responding to the basin surface, overhead lighting reflections, passing movement, or objects outside the washing zone.
What should be checked if the metered flow or temperature becomes inconsistent?
Flush the supply lines, inspect inlet filters, verify balanced hot and cold dynamic pressure, and confirm that service stops are fully open. Construction debris, pressure imbalance, or restriction within the thermostatic mixing path can reduce discharge and cause unstable outlet temperature.
