VIRELIA™ EDITION
Fontana Virelia Touchless Faucet FAQs
Commercial automatic sensor faucet with solid brass
construction, ceramic valve core, single-hole deck mounting,
hot and cold water capability, 2.2 GPM flow at 60 PSI,
and contemporary touchless operation.
✥ Sensor Calibration Procedure? +
Complete sensor commissioning after the basin,
countertop, backsplash, and surrounding accessories are
fully installed. Verify reliable hand detection within the
intended activation zone and confirm nearby reflective
surfaces do not cause unintended faucet operation.
◇ Single-Hole Installation Requirements? +
The Virelia FS10528 series is designed for
single-hole deck-mounted installation. Confirm mounting-hole
compatibility, countertop strength, faucet alignment, and
adequate under-counter clearance for supply connections,
electronic components, and future servicing before final
tightening.
◯ 2.2 GPM Flow Rate Verification? +
The specified water flow is approximately
2.2 GPM, or 8.32 L/min, at 60 PSI. If measured output is
below expected performance, verify dynamic supply pressure,
flush the water lines, inspect inlet filtration, and check
the outlet and supply fittings for debris or restrictions.
↻ Continuous Water Flow Diagnostics? +
Clean the sensor window and remove reflective
objects from the sensing field. Verify stable power to the
automatic control system and inspect the valve assembly for
debris or incomplete seating. Construction sediment can
interfere with dependable automatic shutoff after hand
detection ends.
⌁ Basin and Spout Coordination? +
The faucet measures approximately 6.30 inches
overall, with a 4.92-inch spout reach and 4.72-inch spout
height. Coordinate these dimensions with basin depth,
drain position, countertop setback, and backsplash
geometry so the stream enters the intended wash zone
without excessive splash.
⌂ Hot and Cold Water Commissioning? +
The FS10528 configuration supports hot and cold
water. Flush both supply lines before connection, verify
correct supply routing and secure fittings, and establish
the required mixed-water temperature before placing the
touchless faucet into service. Confirm stable temperature
and flow through repeated activation cycles.
⚡ Ceramic Valve Core Maintenance? +
The Virelia uses a ceramic valve core for
dependable flow control. Before servicing, isolate the
water supply and inspect the valve assembly for mineral
deposits, sediment, damaged seals, or foreign material.
Maintain clean supply water to reduce premature wear and
inconsistent shutoff performance.
⌕ Finish Care and Routine Maintenance? +
Clean the selected finish with a soft cloth and
mild non-abrasive cleaner. Avoid harsh acids, chlorine
cleaners, abrasive pads, and aggressive polishing
compounds. Periodically clean the sensor window and
outlet, inspect filtration, and verify reliable activation
and automatic shutoff during scheduled maintenance.
