4 of 5 Lab Offices Improved Wednesday, June 17, 2026
Reviewer: Stephen Ellwood from Research Triangle Park, NC
Scientists using our administrative washrooms wanted touch-free functionality, while the architecture team strongly resisted the clinical appearance associated with conventional sensor fixtures. Matte-white SmartWall satisfied both groups. The two-function configuration gives the installation useful capability, yet the wall hardware visually recedes against the light surface palette. Facilities participated in commissioning and documented access requirements before occupancy. The result feels appropriate beside a technical workplace without making the restroom resemble laboratory equipment, which was an unexpectedly difficult balance to achieve.
