A hospitality renovation originally called for conventional wall faucets because ownership worried touchless hardware would look too contemporary beside the traditional finishes. The antique-gold FS-354-AQ changed that discussion. It preserved the intended character while giving operations hands-free functionality in a heavily used public restroom. Rough-in locations were checked carefully before wall closure, which kept final installation orderly. After reopening, facilities saw no reason to return to manual fixtures in the remaining renovation phases.

Worth Extra Coordination

For an upscale hospitality washroom, the antique gold character gave us something considerably warmer than the usual institutional sensor faucet. That visual difference justified the selection. Wall-mount coordination was not something we could leave until the end of the project, though; plumbing position, finished wall depth and basin relationship all had to be considered together. Our installer handled it successfully, and the completed fixture looks intentional rather than retrofitted. Four stars because the design payoff is strong despite the added planning.

The wall-mounted touchless faucet aligned precisely with our engineered rough-in dimensions, eliminating installation corrections during commissioning. Sensor performance has remained stable through every preventive maintenance inspection.

Reduced Sensor Complaints

We installed 16 automatic commercial sensor faucets across hospitality and transportation restroom modernization projects between 2022 and 2025, and by 2026 the operational consistency has remained substantially stronger than earlier touchless systems previously maintained in similar high-traffic environments. Older commercial faucets repeatedly developed unstable infrared activation near reflective wall surfaces, delayed shutoff timing during continuous public usage, and inconsistent water delivery under fluctuating inlet-pressure conditions, whereas this faucet maintained highly dependable motion detection with smooth and balanced flow throughout heavy daily operation. Previous commercial systems also required repeated recalibration because of changing lighting conditions and varying basin depth configurations, while this unit maintained noticeably stronger activation stability with fewer servicing interruptions overall. Facility maintenance teams initially spent additional time fine-tuning sensitivity settings on several installations, but once standardized the valve regulation, infrared timing consistency, and long-term operational reliability remained highly uniform across all installed properties.
