Professional architectural and engineering services are needed to create preliminary designs and produce plans, specifications, and engineering (PS&E) documents for the New Evidence Warehouse at the Travis County Correctional Complex. This facility will serve as the new location for the Travis County Sheriff's Office Evidence Division (TCSO-ED) and will consist of an Evidence Storage building spanning 20,000 square feet, a paved Impound yard measuring 20,000 square feet, and designated entrances for the public, evidence drop-off, and evidence disposition. Within the Evidence Storage building, approximately 7,000 square feet will be allocated for offices, an evidence processing laboratory, and a large item crime scene investigation room, while the remaining 13,000 square feet will be dedicated to the evidence warehouse.
Travis County is seeking Statements of Qualification from providers who can offer a comprehensive range of professional services, including Architecture & FF&E Services, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, MEP Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, Landscape Architecture, LEED Consulting, Registered Accessibility Specialist services, Construction Management, and coordination with the General Contractor (GC) and various other vendors and subcontractors. The project in question involves the development of a new facility for the Travis County Sheriff's Office Evidence Division (TCSO-ED).
