Purpose-built for high-traffic washrooms, this hands-free basin fixture combines inductive activation with a streamlined single-hole profile suited to hospitality, workplace, education, dining, transportation, and civic interiors. A reflective chrome surface complements porcelain, stone, glass, and stainless accessories, while touch-free operation limits unnecessary contact at the sink. Its compact deck-mounted form keeps counter layouts orderly and supports a clean visual language appropriate for premium public spaces where appearance, hygiene, and dependable daily use must work together.
304 stainless steel construction provides a durable structural body for repeated service, supported by a ceramic valve core and ceramic plate spool that regulate flow through proven mechanical components. AC/DC power compatibility gives installers flexibility when coordinating electrical requirements, and the G 1/2-inch inlet matches the published connection format. Inductive sensing removes conventional handle movement, reducing a common physical interaction point. These specifications make the unit practical for facilities that prioritize maintenance access, stable performance, and straightforward integration into standard U.S. plumbing systems. The polished finish delivers bright reflectivity that can sharpen contemporary vanity compositions without overwhelming surrounding materials. In hotel restrooms, executive offices, restaurants, airport lounges, or refined shared amenities, the slim silhouette contributes a more composed guest experience. Contactless use also supports a modern expectation of cleaner interaction, particularly in spaces serving frequent visitors. Balanced proportions help the fitting sit comfortably beside architectural sinks, large-format tile, natural surfaces, or minimalist counters while preserving an upscale atmosphere. For architects and designers, defined mounting, power, material, inlet, accessibility, and sensing data simplify fixture evaluation during schedules and documentation. ADA compliance strengthens suitability for inclusive planning, while available BIM files, specification sheets, installation instructions, maintenance guidance, three-dimensional rendering, video support, and warranty information improve coordination from design development through facilities management. The resulting package is well positioned for multi-site hospitality, institutional, corporate, education, and public-sector projects requiring repeatable procurement, technical clarity, and a cohesive restroom standard.
FONTANA WELLA™ SERIES
Fontana Wella Touchless Faucet FAQs
Commercial deck-mounted touchless faucet with 304 stainless-steel
construction, inductive sensing, AC/DC power, and ceramic valve control.
✥
How Does the Inductive Sensor Operate?
+
The integrated inductive sensor initiates water flow without
requiring physical handle contact. During commissioning, verify
consistent hand detection around the intended washing zone and
confirm that surrounding reflective surfaces do not interfere
with reliable activation.
◇
What Installation Configuration Is Required?
+
The faucet is configured for single-hole, deck-mounted
installation. Confirm adequate countertop clearance, secure
mounting, accessible service space beneath the basin, and correct
alignment of the faucet body before final connection.
◯
What Is the Faucet Body Material?
+
The faucet body is manufactured from 304 stainless steel,
providing a durable structural platform for repeated commercial
restroom use while supporting corrosion resistance and routine
facility cleaning requirements.
↻
How Should the Ceramic Valve Be Maintained?
+
The water-control assembly uses a ceramic valve core with a
ceramic plate spool. Flush supply piping before commissioning
and periodically inspect the inlet and valve pathway for debris
that could affect opening, closing, or stable water delivery.
⌁
What Power Configuration Does It Use?
+
The Wella faucet supports AC/DC power. Confirm the selected
electrical configuration and all control connections before
commissioning the inductive sensor and electronically controlled
water-delivery system.
⌂
What Is the Water Inlet Connection?
+
The published inlet pipe diameter is G 1/2 inch. Verify the
rough-in connection, flush the supply line before attachment,
and inspect fittings for secure engagement and leakage before
placing the fixture into service.
⚡
Is the Faucet ADA Compliant?
+
Yes. The Wella is specified as ADA compliant. Its hands-free
operating format removes the need for conventional handle
manipulation, supporting accessible commercial restroom
planning when installed within the applicable fixture layout.
⌕
What Routine Maintenance Is Recommended?
+
Periodically clean the sensor window and outlet, inspect supply
connections and the ceramic valve assembly, remove mineral or
debris accumulation, and verify consistent sensor activation
and complete water shutoff during scheduled maintenance.
