This Elvara configuration adds thermostatic temperature management to a visually elaborate chrome and crystal arrangement, giving the fixture a stronger functional argument than decoration alone. The brass body, ceramic valve technology, three-hole deck installation, waterfall delivery, and separate crystal controls create a substantial assembly that deserves careful coordination before the countertop is drilled. Temperature behavior should be checked under actual building supply conditions during commissioning rather than assumed from appearance or factory setup. I would also preserve access to the control hardware so future adjustment does not require disturbing the finished vanity. Chrome works well here because its neutrality balances the decorative glass components. For higher-end bathrooms, the combination provides expressive detailing while making controlled water temperature a meaningful part of the user experience.

Renovation Stayed Simple

Keeping the plumbing portion of this renovation uncomplicated was important because the restroom could only be closed for a short window. The chrome Elvara fit the project without forcing us into a more elaborate fixture concept, and our contractor completed the work within the scheduled shutdown. Since reopening, staff has treated it like any familiar dual-handle faucet. There isn't much of a story beyond that, which is exactly what I wanted from a straightforward commercial renovation.
