Fontana Le Havre™ Chrome Deck Mount Sensor Bathroom Faucet FAQ
Infrared AI Smart-Chip Sensing, 30-Second Auto Shutoff;
10–125 PSI Operation & Chrome Surface Protection
The Fontana Le Havre™ Chrome Deck Mount Sensor Bathroom Faucet combines
solid-brass construction with infrared AI Smart-Chip sensing for reliable
hands-free operation in high-traffic commercial washrooms. The faucet
supports DC/AC power, operates across a 10–125 PSI water-pressure range
and 0.1–45 °C temperature range, provides an 8–30 cm sensing distance,
and incorporates a factory-set 30-second automatic shutoff with a built-in
strainer to protect the solenoid valve from debris.
How should the 8–30 cm infrared sensor range be commissioned after installation?
Complete sensor commissioning only after the basin, countertop, mirror,
lighting, backsplash, and surrounding restroom accessories are fully
installed. Test repeated hand-entry and withdrawal cycles throughout the
8–30 cm sensing zone and verify consistent activation with approximately
0.5-second response. Check mirrors, polished stone, metallic accessories,
and other reflective surfaces for unintended sensor interaction before
placing the faucet into regular commercial service.
How should operation across the 10–125 PSI pressure range be verified?
Flush the supply piping before final connection and confirm that dynamic
water pressure remains within the specified 10–125 PSI range while the
faucet is operating. Perform repeated activation cycles and verify stable
discharge and complete shutoff. If flow becomes weak or irregular, inspect
the service valves, supply hoses, built-in strainer, solenoid water path,
and outlet components for debris or restriction before replacing electronic
sensor controls.
How should the 30-second automatic shutoff and built-in strainer be serviced?
Verify the factory-set 30-second automatic shutoff during final commissioning
by maintaining continuous sensor activation and confirming that the valve
terminates flow at the programmed limit. The shutoff can be adjusted where
project requirements allow. Periodically inspect and clean the built-in
strainer to prevent sediment and construction debris from entering the
solenoid valve and reducing hydraulic performance or valve reliability.
How should the Chrome finish and infrared sensor surface be maintained?
Clean the exposed Chrome surfaces with a soft damp microfiber cloth and
dry them after cleaning to minimize fingerprints, soap film, water spots,
and mineral deposits. Keep the infrared sensor window and outlet free from
residue that could interfere with sensing or discharge. Use diluted
pH-neutral cleaner when necessary and avoid abrasive pads, steel wool,
acidic descalers, bleach, ammonia, aggressive metal polish, and concentrated
chemicals that may scratch or dull the Chrome finish.
