Verona in gold creates considerably more visual emphasis than its neutral-finish counterparts, so restraint in the surrounding vanity package becomes important. I would coordinate the faucet with the basin, drain, mirror, lighting, and accessory finishes before procurement rather than assuming every gold surface will match from catalog photography. Mounting geometry deserves the same attention: the outlet should land comfortably within the bowl while leaving adequate hand clearance and minimizing unnecessary splash. Under-counter connections should remain organized and reachable for future maintenance. Gold also benefits from a defined cleaning protocol because abrasive compounds can quickly undermine a premium surface. Used thoughtfully, the finish adds hospitality-level richness without compromising practical planning. The strongest result comes from precise coordination rather than simply increasing the amount of decorative metal.

I wouldn't install the gold Verona throughout our entire property, but it makes sense in the VIP washrooms where presentation carries more weight than maintenance efficiency. Under the decorative lighting it looks excellent and ties together the surrounding hardware nicely. The tradeoff appears after a busy evening when housekeeping has more polishing to do. There haven't been functional concerns worth mentioning. Three stars reflects the extra upkeep, not disappointment with how the faucet performs or looks.
