Automatic Soap Dispensers — Warranty

FontanaShowers® warrants that automatic soap dispensers will be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser.

Covered Components

  • Dispenser body and mounting hardware
  • Sensor module, controller/PCB, and power module (battery box or AC adaptor)
  • Pump/motor assembly and check valves

Consumables & Limits

  • Soap, batteries, reservoirs/containers, and filters are consumables and not covered.
  • Damage from incompatible soaps (e.g., high-solvent, particulate/abrasive, caustic, or unapproved sanitizer additives) is excluded.

Installation & Use Requirements

Follow the supplied installation guide and local codes. Products manufactured overseas may not meet certain local inspection requirements; verification is the purchaser’s responsibility.

  • Install per FontanaShowers® instructions by a qualified professional.
  • Use only clean, potable water. Flush supply lines prior to connection.
  • Use compatible power supplies and correct polarity; protect circuits with GFCI where required.
  • Do not modify products or electronics. Unauthorized alterations void coverage.

Care & Maintenance (Keeps Your Warranty Valid)

  • Clean with mild, pH-neutral cleaners; avoid abrasives, strong acids/alkalis, and solvents on finishes or sensors.
  • Periodically remove limescale using approved descalers; never soak electronics.
  • For dispensers, use compatible liquid soaps (avoid particulates; follow viscosity guidance). Rinse pumps if switching formulas.
  • Replace batteries as a set; remove during extended shutdown to prevent leakage.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Damage not caused by manufacturing defects (e.g., improper installation, misuse, neglect, vandalism, accidents, alterations).
  • Labor, removal, reinstallation, travel, or shipping costs.
  • Mineral buildup, corrosion from aggressive water/chemicals, or water damage from external plumbing/fittings.
  • Electrical damage from power surges, incorrect voltage, or improper power supplies.
  • Consumables: soap, batteries, filters, reservoirs, supply lines, drains, or third-party accessories.
  • Finish damage from harsh cleaners, abrasives, or unapproved chemicals/soaps.
