Fontana Castres™ Chrome Waterfall Vessel Touchless Faucet FAQ
Touchless Waterfall Activation, 1.2 GPM Flow;
4.53" Spout Reach & Chrome Surface Protection
The Fontana Castres™ Chrome faucet combines solid-brass construction,
touchless operation, waterfall flow, and single-hole vessel-sink mounting.
How should the touchless sensor be commissioned after installation?
Complete commissioning after the vessel sink, countertop, mirror,
lighting, and surrounding accessories are installed. Test repeated
hand-entry and withdrawal cycles and confirm reliable activation and
complete automatic shutoff. Check reflective surfaces for unintended
sensor triggering before final handover.
How should the 1.2 GPM waterfall flow be checked?
Flush the supply before final connection and perform repeated operating
cycles. Confirm a stable waterfall sheet at approximately 1.2 GPM /
4.5 LPM. Uneven discharge should prompt inspection of the supply path
and waterfall outlet for debris or mineral buildup.
How should the 4.53-inch spout reach be coordinated with the vessel sink?
Confirm the mounting centerline against the actual vessel sink before
final tightening. The faucet is approximately 13.39 inches high with
an 11.02-inch spout height and 4.53-inch reach. Position the waterfall
stream inside the primary washing zone while controlling splash.
How should the Chrome finish and waterfall outlet be maintained?
Clean exposed surfaces with a soft damp microfiber cloth and dry them
afterward. Keep the sensor and waterfall outlet free from soap film
and mineral deposits. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, acidic cleaners,
bleach, ammonia, and aggressive metal polish.
