Complete sensor commissioning after the basin, countertop, backsplash, mirror, and surrounding accessories are fully installed. The Rio uses intelligent infrared detection with an adjustable sensing field. Verify reliable activation without false triggering from the basin, countertop, or reflective surfaces.

◇ Hydraulic Checks During Installation? +

Flush the DN15 supply piping before final connection, verify all hoses and fittings are secure, inspect the built-in strainer for construction debris, and confirm stable dynamic pressure before commissioning the electronic valve.

◯ 1.3 GPM Flow Rate Verification? +

The Rio faucet is specified for approximately 1.3 GPM. If water delivery is restricted, inspect the outlet, built-in strainer, supply hoses, service stops, and available dynamic pressure for sediment or installation debris.

↻ Continuous Water Flow Diagnostics? +

Clean the infrared sensor surface and remove stationary or reflective objects from the sensing field. Confirm stable electrical power and inspect the solenoid and ceramic valve components for debris or incomplete closure if water continues flowing after hands leave the activation zone.

The live specification lists a factory reference detection zone of approximately 25 cm or 10 inches, while the operating sensing field can be adjusted to coordinate with basin depth, countertop projection, and user ergonomics.

⌂ Automatic 30-Second Shutoff? +

The Rio includes a factory-set approximately 30-second automatic shutoff that can be adjusted. During commissioning, verify that extended activation terminates correctly and that normal operation resumes after the sensing field clears.

⚡ AC and DC Power Options? +

The Rio supports AC110V and DC6V power configurations. Protect control components from moisture, maintain service access beneath the countertop, and verify reliable operation under the selected power arrangement. Batteries are not included.

⌕ Routine Commercial Maintenance? +

Periodically clean the infrared sensor and faucet outlet, inspect the built-in strainer and supply connections, remove mineral deposits, and verify dependable automatic shutoff. Clean decorative finishes with a soft cloth and mild non-abrasive cleaner.
