Fontana Cesano Maderno™ Brush Touchless Deck-Mounted Waterfall Faucet FAQ

Motion Sensor Activation, Waterfall Delivery; Hot/Cold Operation & Brush Finish Protection

The Fontana Cesano Maderno™ combines touchless sensing, waterfall flow, hot/cold operation, and a compact deck-mounted contemporary design.

How should the motion sensor be commissioned after installation?

Complete commissioning after the basin, countertop, mirror, lighting, and surrounding accessories are installed. Test repeated hand-entry and withdrawal cycles and confirm reliable activation followed by complete automatic shutoff. Check reflective surfaces for unintended sensor triggering before final handover.

How should the waterfall outlet be checked during commissioning?

Flush the hot and cold supply lines before final connection and operate the faucet repeatedly. Confirm that the waterfall stream remains even and centered within the basin. If discharge becomes uneven, inspect the outlet and internal waterways for sediment or mineral restriction before servicing the sensor components.

How should the 4.33-inch faucet height be coordinated with the basin?

Confirm the mounting position against the actual basin before final tightening. The faucet measures approximately 4.33 inches high with a 1.50-inch body width and 1.50-inch square base. Verify that the waterfall discharge lands within the primary washing zone while maintaining adequate hand clearance and splash control.

How should the Brush finish and sensor area be maintained?

Clean exposed surfaces with a soft damp microfiber cloth and dry them afterward. Keep the sensor and waterfall outlet free from soap film and mineral deposits. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, acidic cleaners, bleach, ammonia, and aggressive polishing compounds.
