The module should be mounted vertically in a dry, accessible location above possible cabinet flooding and clear of the drain assembly, allowing technicians to isolate power, inspect quick connections, and service the valve without removing the basin.
Why must the optional mixing valve be adjusted under flowing conditions?
Hot and cold inlet pressures may differ significantly when water is moving. Setting the mixer during actual discharge establishes a more reliable outlet temperature and prevents pressure imbalance from producing unexpectedly hot or cold water.
What does normal sensor activation with weak water delivery indicate?
If the valve energizes correctly but discharge remains low, technicians should inspect the angle stop, inlet filter, flexible hose, control-box waterways, and outlet aerator before changing the infrared detection settings.
