Fontana Nivaro Touchless Faucet FAQs
Commercial deck-mounted automatic sensor faucet with brass
construction, ceramic valve control, single-hole installation,
infrared hands-free operation, and coordinated architectural
finishes for contemporary commercial washrooms.
✥ Sensor Commissioning Procedure? +
Complete infrared sensor commissioning after the basin,
countertop, backsplash, mirror, lighting, and adjacent
accessories are installed. Verify dependable hand detection
through the intended washing zone and confirm reflective
surfaces do not create unintended activation.
◇ Hydraulic Checks During Installation? +
Flush the water supply before final connection,
inspect the plumbing path for construction debris, confirm
service stops are fully open, and verify stable dynamic
pressure before commissioning the sensor-controlled
ceramic valve assembly.
◯ Basin and Spout Coordination? +
The Nivaro measures approximately 11.42 inches
overall with a 7.95-inch spout height and 4.09-inch reach.
Coordinate the mounting position with basin geometry,
drain location, and countertop setback to maintain
comfortable hand clearance and control splash.
↻ Continuous Water Flow Diagnostics? +
Clean the infrared detection area and remove
stationary or reflective objects from the sensing field.
Inspect the ceramic valve and internal water path for
sediment, mineral accumulation, or incomplete closure
when automatic shutoff becomes inconsistent.
⌁ Operating Water Pressure? +
The Nivaro specification lists an operating
pressure range of approximately 0.1–1.6 MPa.
Verify pressure under dynamic operating conditions and
provide regulation where required to maintain stable
sensor-controlled discharge.
⌂ Maximum Deck Thickness? +
The specified maximum deck thickness is approximately
1.77 inches. Confirm countertop construction, mounting-hole
geometry, anchoring clearance, and below-deck service access
before installation to maintain a secure faucet assembly.
⚡ Ceramic Valve Performance? +
The faucet incorporates a ceramic valve core.
During commissioning, perform repeated activation and
shutoff cycles and investigate sediment, pressure
instability, or valve contamination if closure becomes
delayed or incomplete.
⌕ Routine Finish Maintenance? +
Clean decorative surfaces using a soft microfiber
cloth and mild pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads,
acidic descalers, bleach, ammonia, aggressive polishing
compounds, and concentrated chemicals that could damage
the selected architectural finish.
