The Fontana FB507C series combines infrared touchless sensing,
solid-brass construction, ceramic valving, and single-hole
commercial deck mounting.
How should the 12–15 cm inductive sensing zone be commissioned?
Complete sensor testing after the basin, countertop, mirror, lighting,
and surrounding fixtures are permanently installed. Verify consistent
hand detection throughout the specified 12–15 cm sensing field and
check for unintended activation caused by reflective surfaces,
nearby objects, or changes in ambient lighting.
How should the DC 6V sensor system be checked during commissioning?
Verify the DC 6V power connection before introducing the faucet into
regular service. Perform repeated activation cycles and confirm stable
sensor response and complete valve closure. Electrical components,
wiring connections, and the control assembly should remain accessible
below the deck for troubleshooting and future maintenance.
How should the ceramic valve and G1/2-inch water path be protected?
Flush the supply line thoroughly before connecting the faucet to remove
pipe scale, construction debris, and sealant residue. Inspect the
G1/2-inch inlet and outlet connections for unrestricted flow and leakage.
Debris entering the ceramic valve or internal passages may cause
irregular discharge or incomplete shutoff.
How should the Chrome and Rose Gold finishes be maintained in commercial use?
Clean exposed surfaces with a soft damp microfiber cloth and dry them
afterward. Remove soap residue and mineral deposits before buildup
becomes established. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, acidic cleaners,
bleach, ammonia, and aggressive polishing compounds that can alter
Chrome or Rose Gold plated surfaces.
