Fontana Melun™ Chrome Touchless Wall Mounted Faucet FAQ
Touchless Sensor Activation, 6.5" Spout Reach;
Concealed Wall Installation & Chrome Surface Protection
The Fontana Melun™ Chrome Touchless Faucet combines copper construction,
hands-free activation, wall-mounted installation, and a compact low-arc
profile for commercial washrooms.
How should the touchless sensor be commissioned after installation?
Complete commissioning after the basin, wall finish, mirror, lighting,
and surrounding accessories are installed. Test multiple hand-entry
positions beneath the outlet and confirm consistent activation and
complete automatic shutoff. Check mirrors and other reflective surfaces
for unintended sensor interference before final handover.
How should the concealed wall-mounted assembly be installed?
Secure the concealed assembly to rigid structural backing and verify
alignment before closing the finished wall. Flush the supply piping,
pressure-test concealed connections, and maintain appropriate service
access to the valve and electronic components for future maintenance.
How should the 6.5-inch spout reach be coordinated with the basin?
Coordinate the wall rough-in with the actual basin centerline before
final installation. The 6.5-inch projection should place the stream
within the primary washing and drainage zone while maintaining adequate
hand clearance and minimizing splash against the basin walls.
How should the Chrome finish and sensor area be maintained?
Clean exposed surfaces with a soft damp microfiber cloth and dry them
afterward. Keep the sensor area and outlet free from soap film and
mineral deposits. Avoid abrasive pads, steel wool, acidic cleaners,
bleach, ammonia, and aggressive polishing compounds.
