After repeated servicing concerns involving older decorative automatic faucets developing inconsistent stream behavior, unstable infrared response, and visible finish deterioration across several hospitality restroom modernization projects between 2021 and 2025, we transitioned multiple properties to this touchless commercial faucet system, and by 2026 the operational reliability has remained considerably stronger than previous luxury sensor fixtures maintained in comparable high-traffic environments. Earlier decorative systems frequently struggled with uneven water delivery under fluctuating inlet-pressure conditions and often required repeated recalibration because of changing ambient lighting exposure, whereas this faucet maintained highly stable motion detection with smoother and more balanced water flow throughout continuous daily operation. Housekeeping staff also noted that the finish remained easier to maintain than earlier designer fixtures installed in the same facilities. Several installations initially required slight sensor refinements because of varying basin depth and sink placement, but once calibrated the valve consistency, infrared timing stability, and servicing reliability remained highly dependable across all operating facilities.

One of the handles was pretty loose when we tried it after the installation. We were thinking of sending it back and asking for a replacement or a refund, but the plumber said he could fix it so we let him do his magic. Well, it works well now. I don't know what our plumber did, but hopefully  a permanent solution. Otherwise, if the handles have issues again, we won't know whether to blame the plumber or Fontana.
